Holiday Cheer - Cocoons

Cocoons

Ingredients


1 ¼ stick butter
3 tbsp powdered sugar
1 ½ cups flour
1 tbsp water
¾ cup chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven 275° (Yes, two hundred seventy-five). Thoroughly mix all ingredients. Shape cookies like a cocoon. Place on cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake 1 hour 40 minutes. When cool, roll in additional powdered sugar.

A lot like Italian Wedding Cookies, we use hazelnuts.
Almost everyone's mom has one similar!
