What is Christmas? It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace. ~Agnes M. Pharo

Good God, Anna K...if I lived at your house, I'd weigh 500 pounds by now. I feel my hips vibrating at the pictures alone.

This sounds delicious, as do most of your shared recipes.

I love a good pound cake. Do you frost this one or sprinkle powdered sugar on it?

I am gaining weight just reading your blog--though making the recipes has probably contributed!

Good morning! It is a great recipe. And Ginger, I have gained weight this month....all the more to lose when hubby buys me the excercise machine for Christmas!

I didn't put anything on top, but it's so rich, the only thing I'd suggest is the powdered sugar. That would look nice.

Hi Anna Kathryn,

My goodness, if I lived at your hours I would be so fat I wouldn't
be able to get out of the chair. You'd probably have to spoon the yummy goodies into my mouth.

Cheers
Margaret

Chocolate anything works for me, but I'm getting addicted to the little "chef" in your kitchen. What a doll baby!
