Quick Chocolate Drops
Ingredients:
3 c quick oats
1 c shredded coconut
6 tbsp cocoa
½ c butter
½ c milk
2 c sugar
½ tsp vanilla
Directions:
Mix oats, coconut and cocoa. Heat butter, milk, and sugar in medium saucepan until almost to a boil, but don’t boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour over dry mixture and stir well. Drop by spoonfuls onto a buttered or waxed cookie sheet. Chill until firm.

You always have such great recipes, Melinda...I remember these from grade school, they're still a favorite in the family!
these cookies I have made with success and with no success; I will try your recipes b/c it seems to me that my recipe might call for boiling the liquids. Thanks.
