Wednesday's Chow - Cookie Sheet Apple Tart

Cookie Sheet Apple Tart

Pie dough for two pie shells

Roll Pie dough to fit cookie sheet.

Filling:

6 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
1C sugar
1Tsp cinnamon
½ Tsp nutmeg
½ C Apricot or Apple jelly for glaze

Arranged apple slices in rows, overlapping a little. Mix spices and sugar into jelly and warm to make glaze. Spread glaze over apple slices with pastry brush, reserving half.

Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until crust and apples are lightly browned. Before serving, warm remaining glaze and brush over tart.
