Here's a fun quiz, 33 questions on US Civics and Economics. I took the quiz, but the page which I hoped to show me the answers didn't load. I see if I register with the website, I can get the quiz and the answers, so I'll. I think I did good on the civic's part...it's the economics that I'm not so sure about. What about you? How do you think you did?
BTW, an online article states that 60% of the incoming college freshman fail the quiz, but what's even worse, only 54% of GRADUATING seniors pass the quiz. Yale, Duke and Princent grads actually lost points, while those attending small or state schools, like Rhodes College or Colorado State, improved their points.
Get the whole article on the dismal state of Civics Classes in US colleges at Colleges Get Failing Grades on Civics.
I'm going to join the website, so I'll post the answers later....don't want you cheating....lol.
Take the Civics Quiz now.

Wow...I'm not as 'with it' as I thought I was. But history and civics were NEVER my strong suit--my degree's in math. I got a 25 out of 33...a 75.76%. It's a very interesting quiz, though. At least I did better than a LOT of college students...even with my old brain! HA!
Thanks for posting this!
I got 81.82%. Should have known one question I misread. I think a couple of the questions are guess tions and I thought a couple tested ones logic more than knowledge. But then, test takers always want to blame the test instead of themselves. I have been out of school for more than half a century.
Hang those economic questions, got 30 out 33 which was 90.1% Better than I thought with only one college level poli sci class and no economics (yuck!). Though probably what helped was I was responsible for the civics classwork done in the alternative ed program in our local High School. Interesting question. Thanks for sharing was fun to get the brain to think of something other than historical research.
I made an 88%, which was pretty good. I did better with the economics than I thought I would. To my advantage, I just went back to school a few years ago (getting my AA in 2008)in history/education. So, I had a refresher course in some of this.
I got 75.76% but that's a heck of a lot better than what I thought I'd do. First, I always freeze on quizzes. And second, I dislike and therefore ignore anything that has to do with politics, including economics. I like history, not government ( I know they kind of go hand in hand.)
I made 88.82...missed 6. Not too bad. Thanks, Kathryn for posting this link.

home based data entry
I got 75.76%. I know one of the economic answers was wishful thinking not the correct answer.
I think it's awful that so many college students don't know this information.
Oh lordy, I am SO not taking that! I don't need to to know I would do bad!
