Inquiring Minds Want to Know - Who would you be?

I stol---er, borrowed this question from cover model Jimmy Thomas, who posted it on his Facebook page a few weeks ago.  I loved the question and decided I'd use it on my Inquiring Minds Want to Know segment.

So, f you could be a character in a book, who would you be and why?

And to answer the question, I'd like to be Elizabeth Bennett from "Pride and Prejudice."  I love the story and believe it would interesting to live her life.  Of course, it would a whole lot better if Mr. Darcy looked a lot like Colin Firth (or Jimmy Thomas...that wouldn't be so bad either, lol).

I like the picture on your blog and I like the question. My answer: Eleanor of Nantes in Anita Mills "Lady of Fire." The early medieval age was never made more exciting or romantic.

I think I want to be Elizabeth Bennett as well.

Hi, Angelyn....I have not read that book. I'll need to look it up. I agree, the medieval time was one of excitement....a lot of things happening there!

Hi, Ella, great minds think alike, lol. I liked the miniseries and the book. A lot going on in it, too.

I think Katherine, in Anya Seton's book of the same name. Her love story with John of Gaunt was a good one, and her descendants included many famous English royals. I very much like the medieval period, although the Plague would definitely suck.

Hmmm, I think Taylor in Julie Garwood's PRINCE CHARMING, which is one of my favorite books. Jimmy Thomas will be at the Dreamin' in Dallas this weekend, so I'll see him then.
