Wednesday's Chow - Seafood Pasta Salad

I've had this recipe for a while, but just now came across it again.  This would be a nice luncheon or side dish.

Seafood Pasta Salad

Ingredients

8 ounces uncooked spiral pasta
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup Thousand Island salad dressing
3 to 4 drops hot pepper sauce
1 package (8 ounces) imitation crabmeat, chopped
1 package (5 ounces) frozen cooked salad shrimp, thawed
1 cup fresh broccoli florets
1 cup fresh cauliflowerets
1/2 cup diced celery

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, salad dressing and hot pepper sauce. Stir in the crab, shrimp, broccoli, cauliflower and celery.

Drain pasta and rinse in cold water. Gently stir into shrimp mixture. Cover and refrigerate until serving.

Happy Mothers Day!!!

I'm sorry but not even a win will induce me to eat shrimp.

Well, Marybelle, you can always leave the shirmp out....Since it has crab also, you'll still have 'seafood.' I don't eat green bell peppers, especially if they're cooked. So, I never put them in the recipe when it asks for them....which all cajun recipes include!

OH, this sounds so good. We eat shrimp and love it. :)

Thanks again for yet another great recipe.

My kind of dish, Anna! I'll keep this in mind--we live on pasta of all sorts...well, and torillas of every sort, too. Thanks, Celia
